Where it hurts

Battle Pass

A real climb in Prospect Park, early, when everyone is running too fast.

The Brooklyn Bridge

Up to the middle, then a long drop down the other side.

Central Park

Rolling roads for the last mile, just when you want it flat.

Elevation

The organiser gives no total, but it isn't flat: the climb up Battle Pass in Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the rolling roads of Central Park at the end. The FDR and 42nd Street in between are close to level.
