Where it hurts

Oxford Street

A long drag up towards Taylor Square, and you run it twice.

Centennial Park

Around 33 km, just where the legs go.

Mrs Macquarie's Chair

A detour out to the point when the finish is almost in sight.

Elevation

Not flat: the organiser gives 313 m of climbing over the course, with a net drop of 83 m because North Sydney sits well above the harbour. Most of the climbing comes on the long rises through the city and out to the parks.
