How Steamboat fits together
Steamboat is Mount Werner, above the ranching town of Steamboat Springs. The gondola climbs from the base area to Thunderhead, and the mountain fans out from there.
Storm Peak and Sunshine Peak hold the long cruisers and the famous aspen trees, Pioneer Ridge and Morningside Park the quieter corners, and Mahogany Ridge the newest terrain.
